Sunday, July 3rd – Pops on the River
Monday, July 4th – Chattanooga Lookouts & Lake Winnepesaukah
Pops on the River
Chattanooga Pops on the River
Nothing beats spending Fourth of July on the Tennessee River, listening to free music and watching fireworks.  The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Orchestra sets a patriotic mood with traditional tunes from America’s most influential composers. The concert starts at 8pm Sunday night with fireworks set to go off at 9:45pm.

Where should I park?
There’s a free shuttle service from 6pm to 11pm leaving from the Unum lots between 4th and 5th Streets downtown. If you want to beat the crowds, consider renting bikes from Chattanooga Bike Share. Pick-up stations are located across town, adjacent to convenient street parking. Upon reaching the park, the bikes can be easily dropped off at the station at Outdoor Chattanooga.

Pops on the RiverWhen should I arrive to beat the crowds?
The earlier, the better. Some people arrive early in the day, others at the last minute. The best time to start getting set-up is between 6–6:30pm.

What should I bring?

For the full experience, consider packing lawn chairs or a blanket. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can even pack a picnic dinner; however food and drink concessions are available.

Where else can I view the show?
The fireworks are shot over the Tennessee River so watching from the Riverfront near the Tennesse Aquarium and the Walnut Street Bridge are great alternatives.
