Riverbend 2016

Riverbend.jpg

Celebrating 35 years, this award-winning festival has been one of Chattanooga’s signature events. It has grown from a small gathering of performers for a weekend of music, to a riverfront-spanning destination event that draws nearly 500,000 people each summer. The festival offers five stages with more than 100 bands featuring world class entertainment ranging from classic rock, jam bands, country, urban and bluegrass. This year’s headliners include Thomas Rhett, Heart, Chris Young, For King & Country, Brett Eldredge, Umphrey’s McGee, REO Speedwagon, 38 Special and many more.  Held on the Downtown Chattanooga Riverfront.

FIREWORKS FINALE

The last night of Riverbend is one of the best nights of the year with its final performances and grand fireworks show.

At 6:30pm, the Coca Cola Stage will feature Here Come the Mummies, an eight-piece funk-rock band dressed as 5000 year-old Egyptian Mummies.

At 9:30pm, 38 Special will close the evening, playing the best of their southern rock favorites, including "Hold on Loosely" and "Rocking Into the Night"

The evening concludes with the best fireworks show in town, cascading colorful lights over the beautiful Tennessee River. After all, what's a summer festival without a great fireworks display?
