Q: How many hotel rooms are there in Chattanooga?
A: 2000 connected to or surrounding the Convention Center and 6000 within 5-15 minutes of downtown.
Q: What time of year would I get the best hotel rates for a meeting/convention?
A: From November through February.

Q: Is there any construction or expansion planned at your Convention Center that would interfere with a meeting/convention being held there?
A: No.
Q: Is the Convention Center union or non-union?
A: Non-union.

Q: What help is available for my meeting through the Convention & Visitors Bureau?
A: This varies with the size of your group. Visitors guides, enticement brochures, coupon books, media list, and name badges are just some of the items we offer.
Entertainment
Q: Are there a lot of things for attendees to enjoy when not in session?
A: Chattanooga offers a number of different attractions, depending on the attendees' interest. Among them are the Tennessee Aquarium and Riverfront parks, the Lookout Mountain attractions (Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline), and Hunter Museum of American Art. Currently, there are also 40 restaurants within a 15-block radius which offer a variety of cuisines and price ranges.

A: Chattanooga's world-class attractions and scenic beauty in the midst of a safe and vibrant downtown and surrounding area. Additionally, its central location in the Southeast on the borders of Georgia and Alabama will typically draw large attendance at meetings.

Q: How can the CVB help plan a site visit to Chattanooga?
A: Your sales manager can save you time by finding out hotel/facility availability and pricing and then scheduling a site visit ahead of time for tours of various venues.
Q: Can I participate in an upcoming FAM tour hosted by your CVB?
A: Yes, depending on the size of your group. Please ask your sales manager for more information.

Q: How frequently does the electric shuttle run downtown?
A: Every 10 minutes.
Q: How is Chattanooga's airport service?
A: The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport boasts accessibility to over 1000 destinations with one-stop or non-stop service. Take the hassle out of travel with the ease of getting in and out of the airport and it's only a 15-minute drive to downtown.

Q: What kind of weather/climate does Chattanooga have?
A: Chattanooga has a moderate climate with cool winters and warm summers. Average winter temperature is 42 degrees, average summer temperature is 77 degrees.

Q: What party themes could naturally tie-in with what your city offers?
A: Anything from the 'great outdoors' to a black-tie event. Many of our facilities have breathtaking views of the mountains and the Tennessee River.

A: $25 each way, $5 each additional person.
