Creative Discovery Museum

Creative Discovery Museum is a hands-on children’s museum offering activities and exhibits featuring art, music, science, and technology. The Museum offers a unique space for meetings and events, including a theater-style auditorium that seats 118, and full access opportunities to host private parties for up to 300 guests.

Visitors can float boats through a lock and dam system in RiverPlay, dig for dinosaur bones in Excavation Station, or build a race car and learn about electricity in the Inventors’ Clubhouse. In Arts Alley, budding artists can create clay sculptures, play musical instruments, or ham it up in the "Back Alley Theatre". The Museum’s three-story Lookout Tower features a moving 3-D sculpture on the first floor, an optics gallery and active beehive on the second floor, and an observation deck on top that overlooks the city. Visitors can also venture outdoors to the Museum’s Rooftop Fun Factory where they can launch balls in the air and lift themselves off the roof with pulleys. The Little Yellow House is designed just for toddlers. Here, the Museum’s youngest visitors climb in a tree house, play in a fully equipped kitchen, or tinker in the Little Yellow Garage, while babies can explore the infant garden. The Temporary Exhibit Gallery houses a rotation of regularly changing blockbuster exhibits – for no extra admission fee. Other educational programs include science demonstrations, art lessons, visiting artists and performers, and scientists-in-residence. For inspirational play and a day full of family fun, introduce your kids to Creative Discovery Museum!
