Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is home to the South’s largest operating historic railroad. Missionary Ridge Local trains run daily mid-March through October and weekends in November. Chickamauga Turn service operates on summer Saturdays and longer Dixie Land Excursions run on select weekends annually, especially in October and November. We can accommodate up to 500. Family events include North Pole Limited trains for the holidays and Day Out With Thomas in April or May. Theme trains available throughout the season. Satellite service near Etowah, TN features scenic Hiwassee River Rail Adventures.
