Tennessee Aquarium River Gorge Explorer
Travel down the Tennessee River through "Tennessee's Little Grand Canyon" to observe wildlife and discover more about one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Each two-hour cruise on this high speed catamaran can accommodate up to 70 passengers.
Once inside the Gorge, guests will step out onto a viewing deck to enjoy searching for eagles, osprey, and river otters that live in this protected habitat. A Tennessee Aquarium naturalist will point out native plants and animals, discuss the rich history of the river, including its role as an important Civil War site. Private cruises with a predominant focus on civil war history can also be arranged in advance.
