According to Southern Living Magazine, "Chattanooga's downtown just keeps getting better and better." We always have something new to add to our phenomenal mix of activities and this year, we're revealing some great new venues and ways to have fun.
- Tennessee Aquarium will debut two new things this summer: the Tennessee River Gorge Explorer, a catamaran-style vessel that will take you on an eco-cruise through the TN River Gorge, has arrived and is open for tours; the new 2-Day Big Fish Pass allows you to extend your visit with access to both Aquarium buildings as often as you please over two days. - Lake Winnepesaukah: The South's favorite family amusement park has added a new interactive, cool-down "Stay & Play Hideaway" area including a playground, cool misters and a shady spot to sit and refresh before heading back into the park.
- Chattanooga Zoo: Chattanooga's beloved zoo expanded an additional four acres and will revealed a new entrance (off of Holtzclaw Avenue) becoming more accessible to visitors and featuring a new gift shop, restaurant and endangered species carousel.
- The new Jukebox Junction Theater at the Chattanooga Choo Choo: This new evening entertainment venue has two live, on-stage performances - the Choo Choo Cha Boogie comedy show and the Rock-n-Roll Revue.
