The hot, summer weather is officially here which means July 4th is right around the corner! Why settle for just one round of fireworks shows when you can pack in multiple events for 4th of July this summer? We'll add events to this list as they are confirmed!

Fun on the 4th

Fun on the Fourth will serve as Chattanooga’s official Independence Day celebration in the heart of downtown on Tuesday, July 4, with a free family event featuring nostalgic fun!

Showcasing the spirit of community with old-fashioned fun and high-tech entertainment, Fun on the 4th will fill Miller Park and the surrounding closed streets from 2:00 - 9:30 p.m.

There will be carnival games, a 50ft gondola ferris wheel, vintage vendors & cars, art vendors, food trucks, cocktails, beer, and frozen drinks for purchase, live music on the Miller Park Stage all day long as well as a spectacular laser light show grand finale at 9:30 p.m. in Miller Park!

Red, White, and Moon Bash at The Edwin

July 3 | 7-11 p.m. | The Edwin Hotel

Join us for an unforgettable night under the full moon as we celebrate Independence Day in style! Plunge into an incredible rooftop pool party with a breathtaking view of the spectacular fireworks display at AT&T Field. This event promises to be the highlight of your holiday weekend! Featuring beats by DJ Kevin + food and drink specials. The $20 cover charge grants you access to the event and includes valet parking.

Kid-Friendly at the Creative Discovery Museum

July 4 | 4 p.m. | Creative Discovery Museum

Celebrate America's birthday at the Creative Discovery Museum's Red, White, and Blue Day! This event is all about the kids, but mom and dad will have some fun, too. Happening From noon to 4 p.m. on  July 4, the whole family can participate in patriotic-themed crafts like the Declaration of Independence signing, collaborative fireworks paintings, liquid nitrogen ice cream, a 21 geyser salute with Diet Coke and Mentos, plus learn about the reason we celebrate.

Nothing says the 4th of July like a day (or evening) out on the water. Book a sightseeing tour with Southern Belle Riverboat or rent a kayak or Stand Up Paddleboard with L2 Outside! Enjoy the Chattanooga Market's Red, White, and Blueberry-themed market on July 2. Participate (or watch) the blueberry pie-eating contest and buy goodies from local artisans and craftsmen.
