For over 35 years Chattanooga’s beautiful downtown and riverfront have been accompanied by the sights and sounds of the country’s best music festival: Riverbend. Every summer over half a million people hit the streets of downtown Chattanooga to enjoy great music and delicious food, with the view of America’s Scenic City glowing in the background. The Festival lasts eight days and offers five stages with more than 100 bands featuring world class entertainment. One of those eight days is dedicated completely to the Jazz and Blues, and highlights Chattanooga’s storied past with these genres during the Bessie Smith Strut Night on the historic M.L. King Blvd. The festival is wrapped up every year with one of the region’s best fireworks displays that is sure to dazzle. This year’s headliners include Toby Keith, Old Dominion, and many more.
