The Isha Institute of Inner-sciences announces its annual World Peace Day Celebration. Held in conjunction with United Nations’ International Day of Peace, Isha has assembled family-friendly activities, entertainment and interactive programs—all of which underscore peace. Highlights include: renowned Indian dance troupe Spanda; Nashville-based folk/rock band Humming House; special Yoga for Peace programs; an inspirational film screened across the ceiling of Isha’s massive, domed meditation hall; an interactive learning pavilion, and more. Food and drink—globally inspired vegetarian selections along with a tasty and creative juice bar—are available for purchase throughout the day. Additional activities include hiking nature trails, playing outdoor games and exploring the campus. Admission and activities for World Peace Day are free (except food and juice bar). Visitors should register to attend at worldpeaceday.org.
