"Possibilities: Siskin Hospital Celebrates Life Beyond Disability" Luncheon

Dates: March 3, 2020

Heather Abbott is a model of strength and resilience following her life-changing injury at the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing. Little did she realize, as she waited in line at the door of a restaurant, that a terrorist bomb set to detonate just a few seconds later would blast her into a new reality. The bombing killed three people and wounded more than 200. Heather's injuries from the shrapnel eventually led her to the agonizing decision to amputate her left leg.

The Possibilities Luncheon will also feature an inspirational video that highlights a Siskin Hospital patient who has overcome disability. This miraculous recovery story of love, courage, and perseverance shows that with hope, life can be full of possibilities.

The Possibilities Luncheon is Siskin Hospital’s only community-wide fundraising event. The proceeds provide needed services for patients without adequate insurance to cover the cost of their care.

Individual tickets: $75. Call (423) 634-1208 or email ddeweese@siskinrehab.org
