Meet the Chattanooga Sports Team!

Administration

Tim Morgan Chief Sports Officer

“Controlled passion drives success." An outgoing personality, strong work ethic and determination on relationship development are strengths that have helped me navigate the sports tourism industry for more than 20 years. Working for the Carolina Panthers earlier on in my career amplified my excitement for football; however, it has been a joy to continuously experience the passion people have for all sorts of amateur sports. I have learned to speak the languages of many different sports from table tennis to IRONMAN. I can even converse in the dialect of Modern Pentathlon…ever heard of this sport?

Taylor Moye Sports Intern

As a student at UTC in my last semester, I am eager to contribute to the Chattanooga Sports team as they continue cultivating and creating sports tourism in our region. With a great interest in sports and sports marketing, discovering Chattanooga Sports felt like a perfect match for me and my career goals. I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the success of local and out-of-town event organizers, as the team helps me develop my skill set and allows me to soak up as much knowledge as possible!

Business Development

Brant Donlon Sports Business Development Director

I am a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and have been fortunate enough to watch the Scenic City turn into the must-see destination that it is today. I’ve been in the hospitality world for over a decade, but I developed a love for sports tourism while earning my Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Sports are in my blood, so if I’m not in the office, you will most likely catch me on the court playing my wife 1 on 1 or refereeing your local basketball game.

Michelle Van Den bos Sports Business Development Manager

I was born and raised in the Netherlands and after living in different places such as: London, Alabama, and New Zealand I somehow ended up in Chattanooga! Growing up I played a lot of different sports but Korfball, a mixed gender ball sport similar to netball and basketball, was my favorite. Unfortunately, this sport is still mostly unknown in the USA, so it is one of my goals to change that! I have degrees in both Sports as well as International Leisure and Event Management. Through my travels I have mainly worked in the hospitality and tourism industry and am excited that I can apply both my professional experience and degree in this position. As an avid runner it is right up my alley to mainly focus on the outdoor sports.

Event Operations

Cassidy Brinkley Sports Event Operations Director

Growing up playing sports I was never the most competitive athlete, but I loved the team dynamic and special bond I created with my teammates. I never dreamed a career in sports would present itself as an opportunity for me, but I'm never looking back! Since then I have worked with a pro soccer team, directed youth and adult soccer tournaments all over the Southeast, and in my current role manage and support over 100 events in the Chattanooga area annually alongside the Chattanooga Sports team and our community partners! I am passionate about sports tourism and the positive impact sporting events have on our community. I can't wait to see what else is in store!

Rachel Hisamoto Sports Event Manager

I moved to Chattanooga five years ago after falling in love with all that the Scenic City has to offer. Since then, I have worked my way up through the hospitality field getting to know all about the best of the city. Now, I get to use my expertise as a Sports Event Manager to connect our clients with hoteliers, local restaurants, and VIP amenities. I enjoy helping our partners have the best experience possible through being "Aggressively Welcoming" and ensuring each event gets top notch hospitality. I look forward to showing you why Chattanooga is the best destination for your event!

Mark McCollum Sports Event Manager

After growing up and living in Florida for over 20 years, it was time for a change. I moved to Chattanooga in August of 2022 and haven't looked back. I primarily played basketball growing up, but discovered disc golf in college and am now an avid thrower of plastic discs! Working at Chattanooga Sports gives me the opportunity to explore all Chattanooga has to offer and meet so many amazing people that are passionate about their sport and what they do. Let's connect to talk about bringing your event here and making it the best it can be, or if you just want to talk about the latest disc golf news!
