Ring in the new year at The Read House New Year’s Eve Party. Dress in your finest Roaring 20s attire and dance the night away with the 10-piece band – Gwen Hughes and The Retro Kats. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the band starts at 9:30 p.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served until 10 p.m. with a champagne toast at midnight. A dessert and coffee bar along with late-night light snacks will follow. Tickets: $150/person
New Year’s on the River on the Chattanooga Riverboat Co.’s Southern Belle
Ring in the new year aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat! Get the party started at the 3rd Deck Burger Bar and enjoy dinner, music, dancing and a midnight champagne toast as you cruise into 2020. The buffet style dinner will feature prime rib, shrimp creole, a variety of sides, dessert and more. Must be 21 or older. Reservations can be booked online or by phone.
Songbirds New Year’s Eve Bash: Paul Childers Honors Jimi Hendrix

Songbirds is the place to be for New Year’s Eve! Ring in 2020 with a live performance as Paul Childers honors Jimi Hendrix. Blending pop, R&B, and soul, Childers is leading a new breed of singer/songwriters and guitarists. Hailing from Nashville, he finds a way to blur the lines cast between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix styles of guitar playing, a Motown rhythm section and pop vocal melodies. Doors open at 6 p.m., so get ready for an amazing night filled with fantastic people and even better music!
New Year’s Eve Dinner on the Bluff

Join the wildest New Year’s Eve party around and ring in 2020 with a countdown to noon! The Chattanooga Zoo is celebrating the New Year through games, activities, counting down the clock in different time zones around the world and more. Guests will have the time of the year while learning how the Chattanooga Zoo is working to stop the clock to extinction. Activities include meet and greets with corresponding animals at each stop, animal enrichment and New Year traditions from different parts of the world.
